Restaurants & Bars Offering Military Discounts in Kansas City
Bonefish Grill offers those who serve our country and community a 10% discount on purchases (excluding alcohol and gift cards) any day of the year.
Who Qualifies: Veterans, military service members and their immediate family, firefighters, EMTs, and paramedics.
What’s Needed: Corresponding state or federal service ID, valid military ID or photograph in service uniform.
Carrabba’s Heroes Discount provides a 10% savings on food (alcohol is not included).
Who Qualifies: Servicemen and women, police officers and firefighters, with corresponding state or federal service ID, plus Military Personnel and their immediate family members.
What’s Needed: Valid military ID or photograph in service uniform.
Chuck E. Cheese offers special food deals for eligible military members and their families. Just ask your server about the military family specials. Chuck E. Cheese has local restaurants in Independence, Kansas City, MO, Olathe and Overland Park.
Who Qualifies: Active-duty service members and their dependents, National Guard and Reservists and their dependents and retired service members.
What’s Needed: Show your Common Access Card, Uniformed Services ID Card, or Dependent ID Card, to be eligible.
Houlihan’s Restaurant + Bar offers a 15% discount on food purchases for all Veterans and active-duty military at participating locations every day of the year. The fifteen-percent discount is valid for dine-in or carry out and is not valid with any other offer. Discount is limited to the food purchase of the veteran or active-duty military member.
Who Qualifies: Veterans and active-duty military (at participating locations)
What’s Needed: Proof of military service which may include a U.S. Uniform Services Identification Card, U.S. Uniform Services Retired Identification Card, Current Leave and Earnings Statement, Veterans Organization Card, photograph in uniform or wearing uniform, DD214, Citation or Commendation.
The Heroes Discount gives eligible individuals 10% off their entire check (excluding alcohol) all day, every day at Outback Steakhouse.
Who Qualifies: All nurses, doctors, medical staff, military veterans, servicemen and women, police, firefighters and first responders. Also includes military personnel immediate family members.
What’s Needed: Show valid medical, state or federal ID.
Local Attractions Offering Military Discounts in Kansas City
Military members save $1 off regular museum admission and can get an annual museum membership for a discounted rate of $40 per year.
Eligible personnel can buy up to four, half-priced tickets for most regular season home games. Purchases must be made at the box office to receive the military discount.
Who Qualifies: Active duty or retired military personnel.
What’s Needed: Valid military ID.
Eligible individuals receive up to 20% off single ticket prices. Some restrictions apply. Tickets cannot be purchased online so contact the box office.

Retailers & Service Providers Offering Military Discounts in Kansas City
Lowe’s offers 10% off eligible purchases every day to to those who’ve served or are currently serving our country in the US armed forces. The military discount can be applied to most full-priced products in stores and online.
Who Qualifies: Veterans, active military personnel (including reservists) and retirees of the following:

- US Navy
- US Air Force
- US Coast Guard
- National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)
- United States Public Health Service (USPHS)
- National Guard
What’s Needed: You have to sign up online for the Lowe’s personal shopping card to qualify for the discount, and the discount will be linked to your MyLowe’s account.
Eligible military members can enjoy an additional 15% off their entire purchase, including sale items. Certain items are excluded.
Who Qualifies: Active-duty service members, National Guard reservists, Veterans and registered dependents.
What’s Needed: In stores, show your military ID at checkout. Online, log-in or create a Michael’s Rewards account and follow the prompts to complete your verification.
