Open House and Free Classes in Downtown Lee’s Summit

It seems a little early, but Downtown Lee’s Summit is holding its annual Holiday Open House this weekend, November 6-8, 2009.

Downtown businesses are offering more than 40 FREE classes on everything from how to set the perfect holiday table to holiday make-up tips and tricks. No advanced registration is necessary.

For a $5.00 donation, kids can visit the Whoville Kids Area on Saturday, November 7 and create ornaments for the Mayor’s Tree, make Grinch masks, enjoy Whoville coloring pages and get a picture taken with the Grinch (bring your own camera). Donations benefit Lee’s Summit Social Services.

Downtown Lee’s Summit is located 20 miles southeast of Kansas City at about 3rd & Douglas Streets.
